Google's new IM client came out yesterday. You can download it for Windows here. It works on the Jabber protocol, so any jabber client will be able to talk on Google's network. If you use their client, though, it tells you when you get email at your gmail account and has some other fairly nifty stuff like voice chat. No Mac client yet, but Mac users can use iChat to connect if they are so inclined. Anyway, it's pretty neat!
