Apparently, Heath Ledger is slated to play the Joker in the next Batman movie. I had heard rumors about this a few days ago, but I guess now it's pretty much for sure. If you don't know who Heath Ledger is, he was in 10 Things I Hate About You, Knight's Tale, The Brothers Grimm, and of course, Brokeback Mountain. He's a decent enough actor, I suppose, so he may be able to pull it off. I was kind of hoping for someone a bit more pointy though, like Walter Koenig's son Andrew, who played the Joker in this fan-made movie. That movie, while being fan-made, was made by fans who are Hollywood people. So it's decently high-quality. It has a dumb ending though, just as a warning.
