So this is kind of old news, but Robert Jordan, the author of the ongoing Wheel of Time fantasy series (which I happen to be reading), is dying. I feel sorry for him or whatever but I'm more mad at the prospect of him not ever finishing this frigging series. It is already past 11 books (each of 600 to 1000 pages apiece) and the dude is like writing prequels and stuff. If he dies before it's finished, I hope his ghost gets stuck haunting some sucky place like the 7-Eleven men's room or something.
