The MacWorld Expo thingy was yesterday, which is an event at which Apple generally announces new things they're doing. This time, they had their first Intel Macs to show off. The new iMac will use Intel processors, and they claim it's twice as fast as the iMac I currently own. They also announced that they're getting rid of the Powerbook line in favor of the new Intel-based MacBook Pro line, which has a dumb name and is purportedly 4 times faster than the Powerbook my wife currently owns. The bastards.
