I saw Hellboy 2 this weekend. It was OK, but not as good as I'd hoped. It was visually pretty cool, and it wasn't boring or annoying to watch or anything. But it wasn't as funny as it seemed to think it was, and it wasn't as deep as it wanted to be either. There were some cool fight scenes and really a number of decent parts, but it never quite came together for me. I kind of feel like if you saw the trailer and know Guillermo Del Toro's work, you don't really need to know anymore.
Also I read one reviewer that said it was like a sequel to Pan's Labyrinth but that guy can just get the heck out right now.
