So the new Indiana Jones movie was all right. It was pretty enjoyable to watch, though #3 is still my favorite. The new one has some ridiculous stuff I liked and some ridiculous stuff I didn't like. It has a lot of references to the old ones but they kinda felt half-assed to me. Also I generally like Cate Blanchett and respect her as someone pretty good at doing accents (her American accent in Bandits was pretty great I thought) but her Russian (or Ukrainian I guess) accent wasn't even very good and she just seemed to have kind of a boring character. And some other stuff was dumb. But overall it was pretty fun!
