Robert Jordan, author of the very long and unfinished Wheel of Time fantasy series, has died. I feel sorry for his family, but if we're being honest this is only really going to affect me in the fact that now I'll probably never get to finish a series I've read like 10,000 pages of. I don't think that's so bad though, having many thousands of people who never really knew you but who will be sad you're gone. He was a pretty good author and seemed like a pretty good dude. If you'd like to send condolences, they say they'll post how here when they have details.
